QA²I didn't start with a pitch deck or a team of strangers who met at a networking event. Alexandre is Ivan's son, and he grew up hearing about regulatory compliance and quality assurance at the dinner table years before any of it made sense to him. Max was Ivan's student at KLU, and the two first worked together on Max's bachelor thesis, which looked at how AI could be applied to regulatory compliance. That thesis ended up being more than a university project. It was the first version of the idea the three of them are now building a company around.

Leads QA²I as Managing Director, setting the company's strategy and ensuring that Granicus, QA²I's AI platform, is developed and validated to regulatory and customer requirements. Ivan holds a PhD from HEC Paris, completed a postdoc at Ohio State University in a joint project with the US FDA on drug shortages, and is Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Chain Management at Kühne Logistics University. With over a decade leading Swissmedic- and FDA-approved pharmaceutical companies, he combines hands-on GMP leadership with research on quality risks in pharmaceutical supply chains.

Leads business development at QA²I and, as Product Owner, shapes the development of Granicus in close collaboration with pharmaceutical design partners. Max graduated first in his class from Kühne Logistics University (BSc Business Administration), with a thesis on implementing AI in pharma to increase efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance. A scholar of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation with prior experience at PwC, he combines commercial strategy with a grounded understanding of how AI can be introduced responsibly in regulated environments.

Leads the development of the multi-agent AI system behind Granicus, from implementation and testing through validation and deployment. Alexandre studies Computer Science at Boston University, where he is an undergraduate researcher in computer vision in Prof. Boqing Gong's group, and previously worked as a research assistant at ETH Zurich on neural decoding and LLM agents. A native speaker of English, French, and Russian, he combines hands-on AI engineering with a focus on making AI outputs auditable in regulated environments.

Built QA²I's quality management system and leads quality assurance. In this role, he ensures that the software development process meets the regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. As a Swiss Federal Pharmacist (MSc ETH) with an additional MSc in Medical Informatics and further training in Computerized System Validation (GAMP 5), Amun combines pharmaceutical expertise with in-depth competence in validating computerized systems.
Senior AI Engineer
Leads the architecture and technical development of QA²I's AI systems, defining engineering standards and overseeing how LLMs are evaluated, deployed, and monitored in Granicus. Tanay holds an MSc in Computer Science with Distinction from the University of Kent and brings seven years of experience building AI systems for enterprises, including in regulated and high-sensitivity environments. As founder of Sanlabs, Tanay combines deep expertise in agentic AI with a focus on sovereignty, auditability, and reliability.
